Série agreste

Ceramics, flora,

2023-2024

By taking part in the agricultural work of peasants and gardeners, Sixtine Dubly inventories the tools and gestures, interprets and initiates the signs of Human-Flora friendship that will enter her Repertoire of Link and Care. The artist starts from her meteorological body, from the seasons, conditions shared with Flora, which she uses as a sensitive binder. She questions the notion of agreste, from the Latin, field and the verb, to act, and makes her own this question from the poet Virgil, What to do for the happiness of the fields.
